WHY I'M RUNNING

GOD. FAMILY. FREEDOM.

“I’m Sheriff Mark Lamb. Arizona needs a conservative fighter in the US Senate to defend our values of God, family, and freedom. I’ll stand up to the woke left and the weak politicians in Washington, secure our border and support law enforcement. I will defend our Second Amendment and the right to life, cut wasteful spending, fight inflation, and put more money back in your pocket.”

MEET SHERIFF LAMB

Sheriff Mark Lamb is a husband, father, grandfather, and God-fearing patriot. Lamb has served as Sheriff of Pinal County since 2017. Lamb serves on the frontlines at the Southern Border, fighting the criminal cartels to prevent the flow of deadly fentanyl and human trafficking. In 2020, Sheriff Lamb took a courageous stand against COVID lockdowns, as well as mask and vaccine mandates, ensuring that his people lived free, businesses remained open, and children stayed in school. Through this steadfast dedication to liberty, Lamb earned the nickname “America’s Sheriff”.

Now, Lamb is determined to take his fight to the U.S. Senate. Our Constitutional rights are under attack, the timeless values of our Republic are eroding, and America’s standing on the world stage has been imperiled by the failed leadership of Joe Biden and the Democrats. Lamb will fight to secure the border, stand up for Law and Order, protect the Second Amendment, bring fiscal sanity to Washington, and restore American strength on the world stage. Sheriff Mark Lamb is the conservative fighter Arizona needs to defend our values of God, family, and freedom.

In this heated and revealing episode of KTAR’s Outspoken segment The War Room, former Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb brought clarity, experience, and a no-nonsense voice of reason to the table during a spirited discussion on illegal immigration and the recently passed “Big Beautiful Bill.” Lamb joined Arizona State Senator Anelise Ortiz and former Phoenix City Councilman Sal DiCiccio for a debate that showcased clear differences in worldview, knowledge, and solutions.

Summary Recap:

Immigration and Enforcement

Sheriff Mark Lamb spoke with the authority of a seasoned law enforcement professional who has spent years on the frontlines of border security. He dismantled the misleading narrative that the majority of ICE detainees are “non-criminals” by explaining that entering the country illegally is a crime in itself, typically a misdemeanor, and is often followed by a chain of other offenses: driving without a license, identity fraud, or tax evasion.

Lamb defended ICE agents' use of masks, citing the dramatic 700% increase in violence against federal agents and recalling how police and their families were doxxed and targeted during the BLM riots. As he stated bluntly, “They have a right to protect themselves. If politicians are comparing ICE to the Gestapo, don’t be surprised agents want anonymity for their safety.”

He also emphasized the reality that ICE agents are not conducting arbitrary raids, but are doing there job by following federal law. When agents detain someone without legal status, they are often required by law to take others present into custody as well. As Lamb put it, “You can’t pick and choose who to arrest based on how the politics feel that day. Change the law if you don’t like it.”

Emotion Over Substance

In contrast, Senator Anelise Ortiz struggled to back her claims with any meaningful evidence. She frequently leaned on emotionally charged generalizations, often sounding more like she was quoting Twitter threads than citing legal precedent or firsthand knowledge. Her most repeated arguments revolved around racial profiling and alleged violations of due process, yet she was unable to produce actual data or consistent examples.

At one point, she insisted ICE was targeting dishwashers, nannies, and “brown women like herself” without probable cause, ignoring the reality that nearly 30,000 of the 59,000 people currently in ICE detention have violent criminal records. When pressed for proof, she referenced anecdotal stories and conflated individual cases with systemic abuse, while offering no acknowledgment of legal immigration channels or border sovereignty.

Ortiz even questioned whether masked ICE agents were truly law enforcement. A baffling stance given their clearly marked vests and the legal framework under which they operate. Her dramatic claim that “dishwashers are being dragged away for the color of their skin” fell apart under Lamb’s steady insistence on facts, legal process, and equal application of the law.

The Big Beautiful Bill: Common-Sense Cuts or Catastrophic Collapse?

On fiscal policy, Sheriff Lamb again grounded the discussion in practical terms. He praised the bill’s tax relief for working-class Arizonans, including janitors and teachers, and called for deeper government spending cuts. “We’re on a collision course with economic death,” Lamb warned, highlighting the national debt topping $37 trillion. “Nobody cares about the debt anymore and we’re going to feel it.”

Ortiz, meanwhile, doubled down on typical progressive scare tactics, predicting Medicaid cuts would “kick grandma out of the nursing home” and “rip food from the mouths of hungry kids.” Despite claims that illegal immigrants don’t qualify for public benefits, the bill specifically includes emergency spending to address fraud and overuse in those systems, which Lamb and DiCiccio pointed out had ballooned due to unchecked access.

Again, Ortiz failed to offer detailed alternatives or budget trade-offs. Her focus remained fixed on billionaire tax cuts, yet she sidestepped the fact that every income level benefits, including the very working-class constituents she claimed to champion.
